MSG Media is one of 3 business segments of Madison Square Garden (MSG), a fully-integrated sports, entertainment, and media company. Recognized as a leader in production and content development, MSG Media consists of programming networks and interactive offerings including MSG Networks, a regional sports network, and Fuse–a national television network dedicated to music. MSG Networks is also home to 7 professional sports teams: the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Liberty, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Red Bulls.

An environmental graphics program was designed to enhance the interior architecture of their newly renovated corporate offices. The program relies on bright colors, bold headline typography, and large-scale photographic imagery of iconic moments in MSG Media’s broadcast history and our popular culture. A series of photographic wall murals located throughout office areas evoke the experiences and moments of MSG Media’s viewers. Layered, varying-scale typographic quotes from fans, players, and news media function as a continuous narrative further commemorating MSG Media’s influence and impact on the public realm.

These visual solutions function as meaningful and memorable icons for visitors and staff alike, reinforcing MSG Media’s extensive history. They are visually innovative and cinematic–not only symbolizing MSG, but connecting with the passion, performance, and perspective of its offerings and audiences.

This project was recognized by Gallery: The World’s Best Graphics, Graphis, and HOW  Magazine for Design Excellence in Environmental Graphic Design.
