This traveling exhibition documents the 14-year history of a $39 million cooperative effort made between a group of private New York City real estate developers and the public sector, namely, the Metropolitan Transit Authority, to transform the appearance of a group of subway stations in midtown Manhattan. The exhibition is organized in 7 panels - one introductory panel and 6 individual site panels describing renovated subway stations at Citicorp Center, 599 Lexington, and 53rd At Third.
