In 2008, The John P. and Anne Welsh McNulty Foundation created the John P. McNulty Prize,
in connection with the Aspen Institute, to celebrate the spirit and memory of John P. McNulty
by supporting extraordinary young leaders making creative, effective, and lasting contributions
to their communities. The $100,000.00 prize is awarded annually to an Aspen Global Leadership
Network (AGLN) Fellow to help further his or her outstanding initiative.
The John P. and Anne Welsh McNulty Foundation sought out Poulin + Morris to develop a spirited
visual brand and graphic identity for the Prize, as well as for the Foundation. In addition to
a logotype designed to reflect the unique and energetic character of John P. McNulty, the design
team was responsible for the Foundation's stationery, promotional print media, and website.
This project was recognized by Graphis for Design Excellence in Graphic Design.
