Yale University: A Framework for Campus Planning is the culmination of a three-year,
intensive planning process undertaken by the University. This 3-volume casebook is
comprised of a 244-page, full-color, softbound volume entitled Framework Plan (design
guidelines), as well as 2 reference binders entitled Manual (implementation guidelines)
and Appendix (in-depth analysis of the entire planning process). The document set,
distributed to University trustees, planners, consultants, and City of New Haven
officials, provides a comprehensive plan for the future growth of the Yale University
campus over the next 2 decades.
